In the past week, more than 20 terrorists were eliminated and eight additional ones were arrested who attempted to escape from the underground terror infrastructure.
Following the airstrike earlier today in the Rafah area, Nahal Brigade combat team forces jumped in to conduct a search in one of the structures in the strike area. In the structure, one terrorist was identified who was eliminated following the airstrike and three additional armed terrorists. Upon identifying the terrorists, the forces fired at them from short range and eliminated them.
In addition, the forces arrested two additional terrorists who were in the structure.
In the past week, the IDF eliminated more than 20 terrorists and arrested eight additional ones who attempted to escape from the underground terror infrastructure in the area.
IDF forces under Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat.
