Social media giant X removing less than a third of posts flagged for antisemitism, watchdog group says, even as other platforms tighten enforcement of hateful comments
The number of antisemitic posts on social media rose last year despite stronger enforcement of anti-bigotry policies by most platforms, a watchdog group said this week.
On Tuesday, the CyberWell organization, which monitors antisemitism on social media, issued its 2025 annual report, documenting changes in online antisemitism and efforts by various platforms to combat the spread of bigoted and misleading material.
The scope of antisemitism on social media continues to expand, the report said, despite a modest increase in the average removal rate of posts flagged as antisemitic.
