The British government has announced £251 million in security funding over the next three years to increase police protection in Jewish communities and strengthen efforts to combat antisemitism.

The package will fund more than 500 additional police officers across England and Wales, with increased patrols around Jewish neighborhoods, synagogues, schools and community centers.

Around 300 additional officers will be deployed in London, which is home to more than half of the Jewish population of England and Wales.
