Hezbollah in Iraq smuggles drugs from Lebanon to eastern Syria under the auspices of an oil tanker movement

Commanders of the Hezbollah Iraqi militia in al-Bukmal, eastern Syria, smuggled quantities of narcotic bullets inside car tires.

A reporter for the Ein al-Porat network in the area said Hezbollah members in Iraq carried out escort and defense missions on the oil tankers of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards and its militias traveling toward Lebanon.

On their return, they bring the narcotic pills from Hezbollah factories while disguising them inside the car tires.

Some of the smuggled drugs are sold in eastern Syria and some are smuggled through the Iranian border crossing into Iraqi territory.

The fighters accompanying the convoys hide the bullets inside the tires because drug trafficking is a form of competition between the various militias and Syrian regime forces like members of Division 4 which also operates in eastern Syria, making everyone want some of the revenue the drugs bring.
