While Israel is considering normalization with Saudi Arabia, an article by a Saudi Shura (parliament) member was published today in the newspaper Okaz, which contains anti-Semitic tropes.
It should be noted that Okaz's editor-in-chief is close to the Saudi Crown Prince, and if the authorities did not want this article to be published, it would not have happened.
Shura Council member Yousef bin Tarad al-Saadoun wrote: “If Trump wants to be a champion of peace and bring stability and prosperity to the Middle East, he must move his Israeli darlings to Alaska and then to Greenland after annexing it.”
Trump “must understand that bad decisions are only made by those who tend to ignore the accumulated knowledge and experience of people who have expertise in these decisions,” he wrote. According to him, “Zionists and their supporters must understand very well that they will not succeed in luring the Saudi leadership and government into the traps of media maneuvers and false political pressures.”
Al-Saadoun further wrote that “the ability of the Jews to incite rebellion and war is well-established throughout human history. Therefore, it is not surprising that many Western countries have expelled them from their territories, which indicates that their malicious cunning is not hidden from view. They are skilled at misleading public opinion and pushing opponents into defensive positions.”
