A mass funeral was held in Sana’a for 12 senior Houthi officials killed in an Israeli strike, including Prime Minister Ahmed al-Rahwi.
The new prime minister, Mohammed Moftah, vowed revenge against Israel and pledged to root out “domestic spies,” accusing Israel, the U.S., and their Arab allies of running the world’s strongest intelligence empire.
During the funeral, crowds chanted the Houthi slogan: “God is great, death to America, death to Israel, curse the Jews, victory to Islam.”
The Israeli operation, dubbed “Drop of Luck”, eliminated al-Rahwi and multiple ministers, including those of foreign affairs, justice, economy, agriculture, and information, delivering a severe blow to the group’s leadership.
