Reports are emerging of a confrontation between forces of Iran’s regular army and members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), highlighting growing friction inside Iran’s security establishment.
According to the report, the dispute began when IRGC forces allegedly refused to allow wounded army soldiers to be transported to hospitals under their control. Instead, all available ambulances were reportedly used to evacuate injured IRGC personnel, leaving wounded army soldiers waiting for treatment.
The incident reportedly caused anger and frustration among members of the regular Iranian army, further exposing internal tensions between the two military structures.
