ISRAEL-FRANCE: Netanyahu linked in his letter the recent antisemitic events in France to Macron's policy on the Palestinian issue, writing: "Your decision to recognize a Palestinian state pours fuel on the fire of antisemitism. This is not diplomacy but appeasement; it rewards Hamas terrorism." Macron's office responded, saying that the claim and the attempt to link the two are "wrong, detestable, and will not go unanswered."
