Overnight, the IDF struck command centers and terror infrastructure of the Hezbollah terror organization in the area of the village of Aansar in southern Lebanon, in response to the rocket fire carried out yesterday (Monday) by the Hezbollah terror organization toward the territory of the State of Israel from the village area.

A few hours after the launches, the IDF Arabic-language spokesman instructed residents of the village from which the rockets were launched to evacuate the area for their own protection.

The Hezbollah terror organization embeds terror infrastructure in civilian areas, thereby endangering the residents of Lebanon. The placement of launchers and firing from civilian areas in Lebanon constitutes a cynical and deliberate exploitation of Lebanese residents to advance Hezbollah's terror objectives.
