Friday night, a number of explosions were heard in the city of al-Bukhamal in parallel with the flight of UAVs and unidentified fighter jets in the city skies.

Local sources told the Syrian TV news website that the explosions were concentrated in the area of Alsica - Al-Sawa, south of the city, near the Iranian militias' Imam Ali military base.

Sources claimed that the sounds of the explosions were caused as a result of an air strike on sites belonging to the militia of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards.
