Israeli Ambassador to the U.S., Gilad Erdan met with IDF Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi in Washington D.C today (Wednesday).

The two focused on stopping Iranian Nuclear advances, Iran's expanding power in Syria and the accurate rockets in Lebanon.

Ambassador Erdan spoke with Kochavi on reinforcing UNIFIL mandate, as part of dealing with Hezbollah. The two went over the diplomatic activities led by Erdan against the Security Council and the US government during operation 'Guardian of the Walls' on Gaza's condition, and the demand to condition its rehabilitation with releasing prisoners, and the stopping all terror from the Gaza strip. 

The two will meet National Security Advisor of the United States, Jake Sullivan this afternoon.
