Hamas terrorist fired RPG at armored vehicle in Rafah, in a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement, 5 soldiers were wounded
On Wednesday, the Hamas terrorist organization carried out a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement, during which terrorists attacked IDF troops deployed in the Rafah area. As a result of the encounter, five soldiers were injured.
An updated preliminary Israeli military investigation has determined that a Hamas terror operative fired a rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) at an armored personnel carrier in southern Gaza’s Rafah, wounding five IDF soldiers, rather than detonating a pre-placed explosive device as initially thought.
The incident occurred when troops from the Golani Brigade’s reconnaissance battalion, operating in eastern Rafah, spotted two Hamas operatives emerging from a tunnel shaft in an area where dozens of terrorists were believed to be trapped underground.
