IDF forces continue their counterterrorism activities throughout Judea and Samaria. In preparation for the holiday season, the forces are deployed in defense in localities, on highways, and in the seam zone.
During the week, the forces operated in dozens of villages in battalion and brigade operations.
In the past week, IDF forces, together with the Shin Bet, arrested more than 75 wanted individuals, including ten terrorists who engaged in terrorist activity in Qabatia in the Menashe Brigade, 13 terrorists who engaged in terrorist activities against Israeli citizens and security forces in the Bethlehem area in the Etzion Brigade, and nine Hamas terrorist operatives and arms dealers in the Tulkarm and Salafi areas in the Ephraim Brigade.
In the activity in the Menashe Brigade, a 'Carlo' type weapon was confiscated, and in the activity in Tulkarm in the Ephraim Brigade, weapons and ammunition were located and confiscated.
The arrested wanted persons and the confiscated weapons were transferred for further processing to the Shi'a District Police and the Shin Bet.
