In recent days, the Lebanese Hezbollah militia has deployed several weapons, including Iranian rocket launchers, in the rural area of al-Raqqa province.

The Ein al-Prat news website reported that the Hezbollah militia deployed five medium and short-range rocket launchers near the banks of the Euphrates River, in addition to deploying 120 mm diameter artillery barrels.

The site added that the launchers were brought from the warehouses of the Tadmor Mountain Range four days ago and deployed during the last 24 hours, after their location was chosen by the field commanders.

According to the site, the new launchers were stationed near the town of Madan Ethik, and the town of al-Sabha and the town of Ganem al-Ali, adjacent to areas controlled by the Kurdish SDF. The artillery barrels that were at the scene were deployed near the SDF forces near the town of al-Khamisia (al-Hamisiya).

According to the website, "Hezbollah", 3 days ago, rocket launchers were positioned deep in the desert area of the town of Madan, which is controlled by regime forces, within the administrative boundaries between Deir a-Zor La-Raqqa, while attacking ISIS.

The website stated that the militia used the flags of the regime forces instead of the yellow flag, to prevent damage from artillery fire and enemy rocket launchers (coalition forces and Kurds) while locating its forces west of the Euphrates River and for fear of being attacked by international coalition planes and Israeli planes.

Most of the positions they occupy in front of the Israeli border have clear signs of the Syrian army but are in fact activated and are in full control of Hezbollah. This is known to Israel and the coalition forces, and the fact that they are waving Syrian army flags does not give them any immunity. In time, they will be destroyed when they cross the red lines that both Israel and the United States have set and Hezbollah knows them well.
