Christian villages could become Hezbollah’s new obstacle
Israel is warning Christian communities in southern Lebanon not to allow Hezbollah terrorists to return under civilian cover.
The IDF has reportedly issued direct warnings to several Christian towns in the Marjayoun district, including Ibl al-Saqi, Qlayaa, Burj al-Muluk and Deir Mimas.
Local leaders were told to prevent outsiders from entering their communities and were warned that Hezbollah operatives could attempt to return disguised as displaced civilians.
Israel’s concern is that Hezbollah will exploit civilian movement to rebuild terrorist infrastructure, restore observation posts and once again turn southern Lebanese villages into launch zones and battlefields.
