The Russian forces in the Syrian Golan established another new observation point near the Israeli border.
Back in 2020, the Nziv.net website reported on the establishment of observation posts by Russian military police forces in the Syrian Golan near the Israeli border.
At the end of last year and at the beginning of this year more reports were published about the establishment of additional Russian observation posts along the Golan border with Israel.
This week it was published on Syrian news websites that the Russian military police established another observation post in front of the Israeli border and inaugurated it in a military ceremony with the participation of senior Syrian officers.
Russia declares that it is working to keep the Iranian militias away from the border of Israel and in fact guarantees peace on the border and in return it demands that Israel stop its attacks on Syrian territory.
So far, the Russian forces have only set up observation posts in front of the Israeli border that allow them to gather intelligence from deep within Israel's territory, but not a single Shiite fighter has been removed from the Israeli border.
So far, the Russians have set up more than 10 observation posts along the Golan border in front of the Israeli border.
