From exiting the vehicle to reaching the helicopter: two years since Operation Arnon, the Yamam releases previously unseen footage.
Operation Arnon was an Israeli hostage-rescue mission carried out in Nuseirat, central Gaza, on June 8, 2024. Israeli special forces, the Shin Bet and the IDF rescued four hostages abducted from the Nova music festival: Noa Argamani, Almog Meir Jan, Andrey Kozlov and Shlomi Ziv.
The operation was named in memory of Yamam commander Arnon Zamora, who was fatally wounded while leading the rescue force. Israeli troops came under heavy fire during the extraction from the densely populated area.
In this video, you can see that even after the release of the hostages, the elite unit had to fight their way out while bringing the shocked hostages with them to the waiting helicopter.
