Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez sparked outrage after declaring: "Sorry. Sorry we don’t have nuclear bombs to stop Israel from striking Gaza."

His remarks come amid growing tensions between Madrid and Jerusalem, following Spain’s recent diplomatic steps against Israel.

Israeli officials strongly condemned the comments, calling them “a dangerous incitement” and “a reckless use of rhetoric by a European leader.” Jerusalem stressed that Israel will continue to act to protect its citizens from terrorist attacks launched from Gaza.
