Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Danon, used the UN podium to deliver a sharp message to New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani over his threat to arrest Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

“Your threat has no legal basis,” Danon said. “We all know that the United States is not a member of the International Criminal Court.”

Danon noted that Muammar Gaddafi, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Yasser Arafat had all spoken from the same UN podium, calling them dictators and supporters of terrorism.
