WATCH: Postcard From Israel - Safed (Tsfat)
Shalom! Today my Israeli friends took me up on a two-day trip up north. Our first stop was Safed, or pronounced "Tsfat" in Hebrew.

Sitting on a high hilltop, it is much cooler than in most of Israel. It is where hundreds of years ago, the Jewish mystics went to, obviously drawn there by its quiet and calm, making it easy to meditate on lofty matters.
Today many artists live and work there and there are many colorful galleries.
