In a landmark decision just before Shabbat, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that American victims of Palestinian terrorism can sue the Palestinian Authority in American courts.
The Fuld family, whose lawsuit followed the murder of Ari Fuld, responded:
“This precedent-setting ruling is an important victory for justice!”
Dozens of American citizens have been victims of Palestinian terrorism but, until now, were unable to seek justice in U.S. courts.
Miriam, the widow of Ari Fuld, along with their children, pursued justice all the way to Washington. In this key ruling, Fuld v. Palestinian Authority, the Supreme Court decided that the PA can indeed be held accountable for supporting and being involved in terror.
"This ruling will be quoted again and again in future cases, bringing justice to the world and to terror victims."
Ari Fuld z”l dedicated his life to Israel, to truth and goodness. Even in his final moments, he saved lives—and his legacy continues to shine as a light of justice and morality.
The Fuld family expressed their deep gratitude to the Court and joy that justice has been served. They added: “We will continue to spread Ari’s light everywhere, always. It was his mission, and it is ours.”
