Lebanese academic Charles Chartouni: Trump's threat to Hamas also applies to Hezbollah; If the government doesn't put an end to it, ;someone else will'
Lebanese academic Charles Chartouni said in an October 17, 2025 interview with Spot Shot on YouTube that President Trump had warned Hamas that he would not allow it to continue threatening those who oppose it in Gaza.
Chartouni added that the same warning applies to Hezbollah in Lebanon, and that the Lebanese government should understand that if it does not put an end to this, "someone else will."
He said that as part of the Lebanese opposition abroad, he supports Trump's approach and is working to assist it.
