Ahead of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) hearing in The Hague, Palestinian ambassador to Nigeria Abdullah Abu Shawesh said in a telephone interview on a January 9, 2024 program on Al-Jazeera Network (Qatar), that Israel is spreading lies about the atrocities committed on October 7.

He continued to suggest that the Israelis have stolen 150 corpses of Palestinian children from Gaza and that they might burn and behead them in order to produce them as evidence of the atrocities committed on October 7.
