WATCH: IDF eliminates Hamas battalion sniper officer
Yesterday, the IDF struck in the center of the Gaza Strip and eliminated the terrorist Omar Ahmed Abu Qasim, the battalion sniper officer in the military wing of the Hamas terror organization.
Throughout the war, Abu Qasim took part in executing terror plots against IDF forces in the Gaza Strip.
In recent times, Abu Qasim attempted to rehabilitate the military wing of the Hamas terror organization and advanced additional terror plots against IDF forces, in violation of the ceasefire agreement.
IDF forces under Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat.
