Ilhan Omar, the Muslim congresswoman from Minnesota, has seen her net worth increase from a negligible amount to as much as $30 million today.
Naturally, eyebrows have been raised, especially since she is a Somali from Minneapolis, where eighty-six Somalis have already been convicted of massive fraud, involving state money that was supposed to be spent on welfare benefits, but instead ended up in the hands of Somali fraudsters, whose fraud is believed to have cost the state a total of $9 billion.
Some of that money may have been sent back to Somalia, to finance the terror group Al Shabaab.
A House Republican investigation into Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar has been launched after newly filed financial disclosures showed her family’s reported wealth exploding to more than $30 million in a single year.
