Morocco has successfully carried out a long-range missile test using an Israeli-made EXTRA tactical guided rocket, pushing its defense capabilities forward.
The test, conducted in the eastern region of the kingdom, demonstrated the Royal Armed Forces’ growing precision-strike capacity. The missile, with a 120 kg warhead and a range of up to 150 kilometers, reached its maximum distance and struck its target with high accuracy.
This milestone follows Morocco’s acquisition of Israel’s PULS multi-launch rocket systems from Elbit Systems in a $150 million deal. The system not only launches EXTRA rockets but can also fire Predator Hawk missiles with a 300-kilometer range, significantly enhancing Morocco’s strategic strike and defense options.
The successful test underscores Rabat’s military modernization drive and its determination to keep pace with regional and international missile advancements.
