The Israeli team with the American observer who checked the bullet that came from the Palestinians yesterday, performed a ballistic test to check which weapon she was shot from.

It appears that the ballistic test that was carried out shows that it is not possible to determine with certainty who killed the Palestinian journalist, Sheerin Abu Akala, and whether the bullet was fired from an Israeli weapon. 

The US State Depertment statement said:

"Ballistic experts determined the bullet was badly damaged, which prevented a clear conclusion."
