Prime Minister Naftali Bennett convened a discussion today on the fight against violence in Arab society, in which he discussed the advancement of a national plan to reduce crime and violence in Arab society, and an outline for increasing enforcement.
"Violence in Arab society is a national calamity that has been neglected for many years," Bennett said. "It is the responsibility of the government to fight and deal with the phenomenon and it is a national task. We must address the issue from every angle: criminal, civil, economic and more. The Arab public itself is crying out for help, and this is of course in the national interest."
