A preliminary investigation into yesterday's Houthi attack concluded that a technical fault in the interceptor likely allowed the ballistic missile to fall on the grounds of Ben-Gurion Airport, the Israel Defense Forces said on Sunday evening.
According to the IDF, no failures were found in the defense system’s detection, interception operation, or home front warning systems.
The IDF noted that since the start of the war, the Air Force has intercepted dozens of missiles from Yemen with a success rate exceeding 95%.
