Yasser Abu Shabab: The war for thousands of Gazans in East Rafah is already over.
This is how all of Gaza should be Yasser Abu Shabab, who heads the armed militia fighting Hamas and is based in Rafah, wrote in an article for the American Wall Street Journal:
While most Gazans are still suffering as the war between Israel and Hamas continues, for thousands of people in East Rafah the situation is different - for them the war is already over.
In this area there are no casualties from airstrikes. There is no overcrowding at aid distribution points. There is no fear that Hamas will plant explosives in homes. People can sleep peacefully without fearing that they will not survive another day. This should not be the exception; this could be the case for all Gazans.
