Israeli experts are helping assess earthquake-damaged buildings and implement a national rehabilitation plan approved by Venezuela’s leadership.
The IDF said that a Home Front Command delegation continued operating in Venezuela over the past week, inspecting damaged buildings and evaluating their structural stability.
The assessments are intended to allow rescue and rehabilitation work to continue safely. Israeli experts also toured affected areas, explained the condition of buildings to local residents and carried out engineering evaluations.
In addition, implementation has begun on a national plan to rehabilitate earthquake damage. The plan was developed in Israel by a team of Home Front Command experts and approved by Venezuela’s president, infrastructure minister and the local team overseeing the project.
