Hamas, which carried out the October 7, 2023 attack in Israel in which over 1,200 people were murdered and over 240 were taken captive, claims to be fighting to free Palestine "from the river to the sea," as it also calls for the annihilation of all Jews.
But the ideology of this organization – which is designated as a terrorist group in the U.S., Canada, U.K., European Union, Paraguay, and Israel – reaches far beyond the Israel-Palestinian conflict. Top Hamas officials have spoken openly about Islam's future takeover of the Europe and the entire West, its annihilation of the U.S., and, ultimately, its ruling of the entire world.
