A picture of the menorah being carried by Roman troops was carved on a monumental victory arch in Rome 2000 years ago, and since then it has been a symbol of degradation and oppression for the Jewish people.
The film follows the dramatic events that turned the Arch of Titus into a symbol of freedom and liberty, and the captive menorah into the official symbol of the State of Israel.
