Tens of thousands are said to participate in anti-Israel demonstrations across Spain, held as part of a nationwide strike protesting alleged “genocide” in Gaza.
Anti-Israel rioters vandalized major fast-food chains during pro-Palestinian protests in Barcelona on Wednesday, as demonstrators lit fires, blocked main roads, and clashed violently with local police.
Tens of thousands of people are believed to have participated in the demonstrations, which descended into chaos despite the recent ceasefire that ended fighting between Israel and the Gaza-based Hamas terror group.
Estimates for the size of the protest varied widely, with organizers claiming 50,000 people attended, while Spanish national police placed the number closer to 15,000.
