NEWSRAEL: The finger pointing shows a wide rift between the two terror-armies and we wonder if Hezbollah will now ask how Israel was able in 12 days to kill much of it's own leaders.
A senior Iranian military official blamed Hezbollah for the pager bombings, saying the Lebanese group ignored explicit security warnings in favor of using “cheaper” devices.
Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Naqdi, Deputy Coordinator of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, made the rare public criticism in an interview with Iranian media.
Naqdi said Iran had clearly warned Hezbollah not to purchase certain communication devices later linked to the deadly September 2024 attacks. “They were told not to buy pagers from a suspicious source,” he said, “but they went ahead anyway — they said those pagers were cheaper than the Iranian ones.”
