Anyone who follows the wave of protest in Iran finds it hard not to come across calls wishing for Mujtaba's death. Well, this is Mujtaba Khamenei, the son of the supreme leader (pictured).
He is 53 years old and he is considered the one who runs his father's economic empire and the one who has the greatest influence on the elderly Iranian leader.
It has been reported more than once that he was being trained by Mujataba to succeed his father, which is why the chants of the demonstrators "Mujataba will die without seeing the leadership".
The intense hatred for Khamenei Jr. stems from the rumors that he is actually the most powerful man in the regime and the closest to the security forces that are working to suppress the protest.
