The president congratulated his victory and announced that Tunisia is opening a new phase in our history, while announcing his intention to install a new electoral law, based on the approved constitution.  Opponents of the president rejected the results of the referendum and challenged its legitimacy in light of the low voter turnout, 27.5% of all voters in the country. 

The union of parties opposed to Saied called the referendum "illegal", while calling on the president to resign.
