PM Netanyahu spoke this evening at a gathering of Israeli ambassadors and Foreign Ministry officials in Jerusalem.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that since the IDF took control of the Philadelphi Corridor, “there has been no Hamas force-building.”
This comes despite cabinet updates noting that Hamas is using the ceasefire pause to rearm through local weapons production and by repurposing leftover IDF munitions. Netanyahu confirmed that Hamas and Hezbollah had planned a coordinated invasion of Israel while launching thousands of rockets.
Netanyahu added that “a senior figure in America — apparently President Trump — told me, ‘You are the only allies we have who are actually fighting.’”
