Biden's Ambassador to Israel: We oppose construction in the settlements

U.S. Ambassador Tom Nides made the remarks following a Department of Defense announcement on advancing the planning and construction of thousands of new housing units in the West Bank.

According to an Israeli official, it was decided to move the move forward as much as possible in order to profit between it and a visit to Biden, where "senior government officials are allergic to construction in the settlements."
