Three people were killed and three others injured in two separate overnight traffic accidents in central Israel
Three people were killed and three others injured in two separate overnight traffic accidents in central Israel and northern Samaria, including a fiery two-car collision that claimed two lives and a separate crash in which a 20-year-old motorcyclist was killed, emergency responders said.
According to Magen David Adom (MDA), Israel’s national emergency medical service, the first crash occurred in Rishon Lezion and involved two vehicles, one of which overturned and burst into flames. Paramedics arriving at the scene found two victims unconscious and suffering severe burns.
“A man was trapped inside the burning vehicle, unconscious,” MDA medics said. “On the side of the road was a young man about 20 years old, also unconscious. They were pulseless and not breathing and suffered severe burns to their bodies. We performed medical examinations, but unfortunately, we had no choice but to declare them dead.”
