Reports in US media, led by NewsNation and Fox News, point to a troubling pattern: at least 10 American scientists and senior officials with access to highly classified nuclear, defense, and space information have either disappeared or died under unexplained circumstances.
The issue has reached the White House, where President Donald Trump confirmed it is under serious government review, calling it “pretty serious stuff” and promising clearer answers within about a week and a half.

Since mid-2023, cases have accumulated involving scientists from sensitive institutions such as Los Alamos National Laboratory, NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), and MIT. Some vanished without a trace, leaving behind phones, wallets, and cars; others were shot dead near their homes.
