In many ways, it could be said that today's Trump-Vance meeting in the Oval Office with Ukraine president Zelensky was unprecedented.

After 3 years of war where Zelensky was met with "king's honor" in every country he visited, it might be said that Trump wanted to first bring him down a couple of notches.
