Elbit Systems has reached a new milestone after winning a major contract worth approximately $1.4 billion for broad military modernization programs.
The deal, announced on May 26, 2026, is expected to be carried out over the next five years and is designed to upgrade the customer’s maneuvering, survivability, intelligence and precision-strike capabilities across several combat domains.
The package reportedly includes autonomous systems, drones, unmanned platforms, advanced land-based electronic warfare networks, precision-guided artillery and air-to-ground munitions, electro-optical systems for target marking and intelligence collection, and software-defined radio systems that connect the different tools into one operational network.
The customer has not been officially named and was described only as a European military client. However, the deal fits the massive rearmament trend now taking place across Europe following the Russia-Ukraine war.
