CNN host Jake Tapper stunned viewers Monday by acknowledging that efforts to cover up Joe Biden’s mental decline during his 2024 campaign were a genuine scandal — "possibly" even worse than Watergate.
Tapper, co-author of Original Sin, a new book exposing Democratic attempts to conceal Biden’s deteriorating health, was grilled by Piers Morgan on Uncensored about why he didn’t equate the cover-up with the infamous 1972 break-in that led to Nixon’s resignation.
“Joe Biden is not Richard Nixon, and the hiding and cover-up of his deterioration is not Watergate,” Tapper wrote in his book. But Morgan wasn’t convinced: “I am not entirely sure I agree, Jake.”
