Ideology by the dollar: A struggle for the billions belonging to the Muslim Brotherhood
The Nziv Report 04.11.2021
In recent weeks, there have been increasing reports of a deep internal rift within the Muslim Brotherhood, to which Hamas, among others, belongs. The rift is not against an ideological background but about money - and a lot of money.
The struggle is being waged between the "London faction" led by Ibrahim Munir, the movement's acting leader, and the "Istanbul faction."
The control of the movement's assets all over the world is run by a senior official in the movement who is in Turkey. With a total value of about $6 billion, in addition, London demands that the aid from the Turkish government in the amount of $1.7 million a month be transferred from the leadership in Istanbul to the leadership in the British capital.
