In Gaza, a new Board of Peace initiative is being advanced to establish humanitarian zones free of Hamas. The plan also calls for ending funding to UNRWA and redirecting assistance through the new framework.
Meanwhile, Israel’s Tekuma Authority reports that 92% of the residents of the Gaza border communities have already returned home, while more than 5,000 new residents have joined the area’s communities since the start of the rehabilitation process.
