In 2008, the Internet exploded in laughter at this photo of a protester outside the Israel embassy in New York for his sign saying "DEATH TO ALL JUICE."
It was funny. It was turned into memes. But the rest of the story isn't so funny.
The protester, Carlos Almonte, was arrested with a friend in 2010. They planned to travel to Somalia to join the Al-Shabab terror group.
They pleased guilty in 2011.
The protesters we are seeing today saying "We are all Hamas" and "By Any Means Necessary" and "Globalize the Intifada" could each easily be the next Carlos Almonte, trying to actualize their slogans against Jews, now or next year.
