Today, the IDF presented to the international media the method of operation of Hamas for turning civilian neighborhoods in the Gaza Strip into spaces of terror from which they operate against our forces.

The terrorist organization Hamas systematically places terrorist infrastructures in civilian buildings such as schools, kindergartens, mosques and terrorist infrastructures. Among the terrorist infrastructures located by the IDF forces in civilian buildings were underground tunnels, hiding places for terrorists, military bases for conducting operations, rocket and anti-tank missile launch sites, and munitions warehouses. All the terrorist infrastructures were set up in the same civilian buildings in order to use the residents of Gaza as a "human shield" and "protective vest" for the organization's terrorists.

Hamas' operating concept includes maximum utilization of these institutions, both underground and above ground, with the belief that Israel will not operate in these places. As has been proven time and time again, the civil institutions in the Gaza Strip under the rule of the terrorist organization Hamas are practically used as terror bases.

In the attached video you can see a demonstration of an area in the Shati neighborhood in the north of the Gaza Strip. As you can see, Hamas uses civilian infrastructure such as children's schools and civilian homes to hide its terrorist infrastructure and act against the IDF forces. Under the cover of the civilian route, the terrorist organization launches missiles, smuggles weapons and operates terrorist operatives.
This video is a demonstration of a limited area out of the many areas that exist in the Gaza Strip which Hamas uses in the same way while putting the civilian population at risk.
