Tomorrow, many leaders from the Middle East and Europe will meet in Egypt with President Trump for a summit on Gaza. The only country not invited is the country that made all of this possible — Israel.
For: Some might say that President Trump is using this summit to push regional countries to take responsibility for Gaza, and that Israel’s absence allows the Arab states to speak freely while still aligning with US interests.
Against: Others argue that excluding Israel from a summit about Gaza is absurd and disrespectful — Israel is the only country that has sacrificed and fought the terrorists directly, and any peace plan without its seat at the table is meaningless.
