BBC reporter in Gaza: "We will burn Jews like Hitler did"

Samer Al-Zanan, a frequent contributor to BBC Arabic since the outbreak of the conflict, has made shocking antisemitic statements.

A prominent journalist reporting for BBC Arabic from Gaza, Samer Al-Zanan, called for burning Jews "like Hitler did." Since the Hamas attacks on Israel on October 7, he has appeared on BBC Arabic more than a dozen times.

It has now been revealed that in a Facebook post from July 2022, Al-Zanan wrote: "When things go wrong, shoot the Jews, it fixes everything."

In another Facebook post from May 2011, he declared: "My message to the Zionist Jews: we will take back our land, we love death for Allah as you love life. We will burn you like Hitler did, but this time, none of you will remain."
